Application Procedure

IBSAT 2024 is an online proctored test that you can take from the comfort of your home.

Step 1:
Register for IBSAT 2024 by paying an application fee of Rs 1800.

Step 2:
You can take the IBSAT 2024 test or submit scores from CAT, NMAT by GMAC™, XAT, or GMAT™.
Valid scores from any of these tests, taken from 2022 onwards, are also accepted in place of IBSAT 2024.

Step 3:
Wait for the results announcement and receive an invitation to the selection process if shortlisted.

Step 4:
Attend the selection process at the IBS Hyderabad campus.
(Selection process consists of Micro Presentation and Personal Interview rounds)

Step 5:
Receive admission confirmation and campus allocation.

Scholarships and Fee Structure

Scholarship Opportunity :

A total of ₹10 Crore in scholarships will be awarded to 500 qualified candidates, with each scholarship worth ₹2 Lakhs.

Qualification Criteria :

Scholarships will be awarded based on the IBSAT 2024 test conducted exclusively on December 28th and 29th 2024

Eligibility Criteria :

  • For Toppers in IBSAT 2024: Candidates who secure top ranks in IBSAT 2024 applying for the MBA/PGPM program
  • For Wards of IBS Alumni: Children of IBS alumni applying for the MBA/PGPM program.
  • For Physically Challenged Candidates: Candidates with physical disabilities applying for the MBA/PGPM program.
  • For Wards of Defence Personnel (In-Service/Retired) from Army, Airforce, Navy, and Paramilitary Forces: Children of in-service or retired defense personnel from these forces applying for the MBA/PGPM program.

IBS follows 100% Case-based teaching and was one of the first B-schools in India to do so. In the case method of learning, students are required to read the case, comprehend the business situation and apply whatever they have learnt in their books to a real-life business situation explained in the case study.

The experiential learning methodology in the program provides the students with a mechanism to seek, comprehend and internalize the knowledge on a continuous basis.

The market driven curriculum further offers the students an industry interface through a summer internship program (SIP).

The syllabus is updated on a regular basis according to the needs of the industry.

The IBSAT 2024 exam pattern closely resembles that of the CAT, but with no negative marking.
The test is divided into the following sections and has a duration of 2 hours.
